Logan Mailloux Recalled to Laval Rocket

Montreal Canadiens Prospect Completes Regular Season with London Knights

Mailloux Continues to Impress in OHL

Montreal Canadiens prospect Logan Mailloux has been recalled to the Laval Rocket, the team's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate. The move comes after Mailloux finished the 2022-23 regular season with the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).

Mailloux, a first-round pick by the Canadiens in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, had a strong season with the Knights this year. He scored 22 goals and added 29 assists in 66 games, finishing the season with a plus-20 rating. Mailloux also led the Knights in penalty minutes with 112.

Mailloux's performance with the Knights earned him a spot on the OHL's Western Conference Second All-Star Team. He was also named the Knights' Most Valuable Player and Most Improved Player.

Mailloux will now join the Laval Rocket as they prepare for the Calder Cup Playoffs. The Rocket finished the regular season with a record of 39-26-6-5, good for fourth place in the AHL's North Division.

Mailloux's recall is a positive sign for the Canadiens, who are hoping that he can continue to develop and reach his full potential. The 6-foot-3, 211-pound defenseman has shown a lot of promise in his young career, and he could be a valuable asset to the Canadiens in the future.
