Supergrass to play I Should Coco 30th anniversary shows

Iconic Britpop band Supergrass are set to play a series of special shows to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their debut album, I Should Coco.

The band will play three dates in the UK in September, at the O2 Academy in Glasgow, the O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester and the O2 Academy in Brixton, London. They will also play two dates in Ireland, at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin and the Mandela Hall in Belfast.

Tickets for the shows go on sale on Friday, March 3 at 9am.

I Should Coco was released in May 1995 and was a critical and commercial success, reaching number one on the UK album chart and spawning the hit singles "Alright" and "Caught by the Fuzz".

The album is considered to be one of the defining albums of the Britpop era and has been praised for its catchy melodies, energetic performances and witty lyrics.

Supergrass have continued to release music and tour regularly since the release of I Should Coco, but the 30th anniversary shows will be a special opportunity for fans to see the band perform the album in its entirety.

The band's frontman, Gaz Coombes, said: "We're really excited to be playing these shows. I Should Coco is a special album for us and it's going to be great to play it live again for our fans."

Tickets for Supergrass's I Should Coco 30th anniversary shows are on sale now.
