Man City cruise past Chelsea to reach FA Cup semi-finals

Player ratings as Phil Foden and Erling Haaland shine

Manchester City returned to winning ways in style as they thrashed Chelsea 6-0 at the Etihad Stadium to book their place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

Pep Guardiola's side were in ruthless form from the start, with Phil Foden opening the scoring in the eighth minute. Erling Haaland doubled the lead just three minutes later before Julian Alvarez added a third in the 21st minute. Riyad Mahrez made it 4-0 in the 28th minute before Foden completed his hat-trick in the 38th minute. Chelsea's misery was complete when Kalidou Koulibaly put through his own net in the 78th minute.

The win was a welcome return to form for City, who had lost their last two matches in all competitions. It also ended Chelsea's 10-match unbeaten run in all competitions.
